Forget Amazon, this is a great place to but your next favorite book from a snazzy book store close to the Museum of Natural History. I love the mystery bookd wrapped in paper that say "if you love Dark Matter, the Girl with the Gifts and Batman you will love this book" and they are right 97.5% of the time.

An intimate, yet large, book store that sells books and gift items. The staff is very helpful, patient, and kind. The downstairs is dedicated to children -- babies through tweens. Not only do they have a good collection of books, they also sell backpacks and gift items such as Green Toys vehicles, play sets, craft kits, puzzles, and more. There are nooks a seating areas throughout. You are welcome to sit, read, and even play. Anything that they don't have, Book Culture staff are always more than happy to order books in. There is a membership club with perks and savings. Although the kid area is great, there is a large flight of stairs leading down to the kids' area. There aren't any elevators. There are many breakable items and minimal stroller parking upstairs. Getting downstairs and upstairs with multiple small children of varying ages can be a challenge, and corraling them while trying to get them in the stroller has the potential to be expensive.

Good selection of recent and well reviewed books, and they can order anything they don't have in stock. Also you can apparently buy home goods here which is weird but cool.
