Bread Brothers Bagel Cafe - Grand

Order a Lox Bagel through seamless for $11 and this is what I received. I called and asked for a refund and the manager was extremely rude and said 'they never give refunds for anything'

This place is at least 4.0+ stars, the low reviews are due to delivery, so I’m not sure if this is third-party reared or Bread Brother’s fault. But if you come in person, the staff is great and you get your order in a timely manner. They have a solid 8 oz coffee + egg/cheese/sausage or ham or bacon bagel sandwich for ~$6. A great spot for a quick breakfast. There’s only three tiny tables with 2 seats so don’t plan to sit down unless you have some patience or are fine with trying to get lucky.

Terrible. 2 hours late for a bagel sandwich. I called 8-9 times and someone would pick up say "bread brothers" and then laugh, and not respond when I asked about my order. The delivery guy showed up and I refused to take it, after I already went somewhere else to eat. Also they didn't offer to refund my payment of top that I made through seamless.

Service and delivery has deteriorated. Ordered at 10:42am, Delivery guy shows up at almost 12:15pm. I go to pay cash with a $20 bill for a 14.67 tab egg sandwich and austin special salad, which was supposed to have chicken, but did not..RIP OFF and the delivery guy claims he has no change and expects to keep 5 on a over priced, late meal that was prepared incorrectly. Never again!

HORRENDOUS. They mess up every single order we place, I don’t know why we still give them business. Today they forgot avocado on my sandwich, I went back to ask for them to put it on. The cashier insisted she didn’t make a mistake “I know we always mess up but I know I took the correct order” then insisted I pay $1 for it. Even though I had to leave my apartment to go back there to have the order corrected. The bread brothers in greenpoint trumps this place. Will never go back. TERRIBLE.

This place has problems. A sign outside advertised a egg/cheese/bacon sandwich for $4.99 + tax. I went in and ordered it, and I was charged a total of $5.79. I asked the cashier why it was $5.79, he looked past me and said "tax." He refused to make eye contact. I said "no, that's wrong. That doesn't add up." He repeated without looking directly at me, "tax." I asked for the receipt and sure enough, he charged me $5.25 + tax. I showed him and said, "see? I was overcharged." He literally shrugged and said nothing. I asked for his manager, and when she saw the receipt, she said in a flippant tone, "the big boss man changed the price in the computer. You're right sir, when you're right, you're right." She made a big show of giving me back what I was owed. I asked her why the cashier ignored me when I presented it to him, she snapped at me and said, "he's just doing his job. If you don't like the service here, don't come back." Don't worry, lady, I never will. I cannot wait for this place to shut down.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Where do I begin: I called prior to making my order via grub hub to see if they would deliver to my place of employment which is a 9 minute ride according to Google maps. I was told that they would deliver but it had to be over $10 to $15, I was also asked to make it via grub hub. I agreed even though I didn't have an account. I created my grubhub account and placed my order at 1140a and according to grubhub I would have my order by 12:20p. So when I didn't hear anything by 12:25 I called to ask the status of my delivery. The older lady, who I believe is the owner said: Are you at ______ location your going to have to wait you're too far. I said excuse me I placed a long time ago 11:40a and I'm suppose to have my order by 1220. She told me that if I wanted to I could cancel, and before I could say anything else she hung up on me. At first I couldn't believe it so I called back and she picked up, I said excuse me did you just hang up on me and she hunh up on me AGAIN. It's crazy because I have been a consistent walk-in customer with these ppl for yrs, and have never been treated with such disrespect. These ppl will never get a dime from me, my company or anyone I know ever again. We'll just go to the Bread Brothers on Bushwick and Melrose they are always packed but they tell you upfront if they can't deliver to you and not leave you waiting 45 mins for you to find out.

Great spreads and great bagels, the coffee is tasty as well. I was surprised it has such a low rating here but from reading the reviews they need some work on their delivery service, so I would suggest actually showing up.

I placed an order two and half hours ago and I never received my order. I’m pregnant and waited so long for my waffle and the place closed down due to the weather and never communicated that with me. I called three times and everytime I called they told me it was on its way. Never arrived! I am beyond disappointed with this place.

Francis is the best she makes my mornings with her smile she makes you feel like a million dollar baby the nova deluxe is the BEAST and the smoothie #7 OMG the spot is small but nice and clean
