The lemon lavender slice had no bottom crust so it was just a mass of jelly holding on to the outer crust for dear life. What was the worst part though was the lavender herbal toppings. I asked for dessert not potpourri. I mean I get adding a subtle hint of lavender flavor but nobody wants a mouthful of garnish. Even worse is that you cannot remove the lavender grains bc they're tiny. Not only was it bad it was $16 for two slices! Never asking my boyfriend to pick up something sweet again!!!!
Best bacon egg and cheese I’ve had in a long time. Amazing quality bacon which can be hard to find and a super flavorful satisfying sandwich. Mushroom egg and cheese hand pie was also great and so were the cookies.
had the Hen pot pie. looks like an empanada but not fried or heavy. and has peas which i liked and flaky pie dough enveloping it. got mixed berry pie and a cappuccino afterwards. Top knotch!
I love the cookies and rosemary chedder biscuits. They are made fresh and are really delicious. I also love to sit outside, it is so relaxing
Fair price for good coffee, Excellent double chocolate cookies. . Nice staff. I can't say anything about their pies, because I haven't tasted them, though they appear to be well-crafted They are a bit pricey for my wallet. It would be nice to see them be more proactively transparent about the ingredients in their offerings, as I have learned to be cautious about nutrition, even in comfort food choice.
This little slick of heaven offers a variety of pies, my favorite is the Chocolate Maple Pecan Pie. The combination is just right not too sweet. The lemonades are refreshing. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Let’s just say this is my to go to spot for pies! The warm apple pie is scrumptious! Go buy one - run home and pair it with some ice cream - caramel optional - you’re welcome
This bakery and cafe is absolutely phenomenal. If you ever in Brooklyn you must bring home their muffins Kish and pies. This bakery and cafe it's one of the best in New York I am 65 and love bakeries. I know where I am going for all my holiday bake goods.
*2nd visit: I got their pumpkin pie and found a little bit disappointed. The filling was great, like the pumpkin taste with the spices. But the crust was thin and soft without any texture. I personally don’t like pecan pie since it is usually a dull choice only with pecan and full of intense and dense syrup. However, I decided to give it one more try because their pecan pie seems different. And It turned out I was right! And I’m glad that I had it on my pie day. The chocolate balanced the sweetness of maple and the crust is better than some “much-more-famous” pie shops tbh.
I was able to obtain 3 kinds of pie slices Lemon-Lavender, Apple Crumble, and Chocolate Maple Bourbon Pecan. One cannot go wrong with ones choices. After nearly 2 years I finally found the opportunity to come back. The pie slirs are now available ready to go from the refrigerator. The s'mores pie is another good choice.
