I got Chorizo Con Huevo. I was there to early and many vendors weren't open. It was small but the taste was good. So, i think it will be okay if you come there early and try to get breakfast first before hit the other foods.Food: 5/5
I searched all over the city to find a delicious burrito like the California. You must try it - and often. You will be convinced you are eating from the taco shops in Colorado and California. Oh and the spicy salsa is a must! Do yourself a favor and get to Chelsea Market tomorrow morning!
Was pretty nice burrito but quite small so don't plan on having a big breakfast with it.Food: 4/5
AVOID! Bought a breakfast burrito from the vendor cart - $6 - the guy messed with the payment and I realised he'd charged me $18. Went back and he tried to play dumb saying it was someone else's payment, even though I had it on my banking app in front of him and had been there 2 minutes before. Wouldn't give a refund and eventually gave us 1 extra burrito which honestly isn't worth it. SCAM, AVOID
Located just before the fountain/waterfall, when you arrive from the east entrance, this cart offers several types of breakfast burritos, with some veggie options. You also get a tasty chili sauce on the side and some napkins so that you can keep you keyboard clean since only commuters will go to the Chelsea Market so soon. It’s a good price for the location ~$4.5 and a great change from the usual bacon/sausage breakfast sandwich.
Good if you're in the area. But not worth traveling for. 3 flavors - bacon, charizo, California $6 per burrito
Happiest guy in the market! Has an entire cart of these thin breakfast burritos - 3 options. I prefer the California.
If you want burrito the diameter of a cigar that's packed with what taste like masa blobs with warmed over ham, this is your place... That was the "California". Nothing breakfast or burrito about it, just gross. I can't believe it, but Taco Bell's Grande Scramber is 1000 times better as a breakfast burrito.
El Donkey is Los Tacos No. 1's solution for breakfast and can't be beat. At $4/burrito, you have your choice of a DELICIOUS bacon, chorizo or cactus with egg and cheese served from a cart rolled out of Los Tacos at 8am. Get there early to fully enjoy Chelsea Market, too.
They don’t make enough burritos to make this seem like anything more than a marketing trick; it’s hardly worth braving the tourist trap which is Chelsea Market for a burrito that runs out hours before their published closing time...the irony is that the burritos are made in that kitchen there...so rather than make more to meet demand, they close. I won’t be back.
