I grew up in a urban area where horse riding was not available. Since I have always wanted to learn I decided as an adult to give it a try. I have had 3 private lessons with Bridges Equestrian trainer, Jessica Luke and I absolutely love it! From the first time I arrived everyone was very helpful, friendly and patient with me as they taught me how to get the horse ready for riding. When I first got on the horse I was very nervous but Jessica made me feel very comfortable and didn't push me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with yet. After just three lessons, I feel very comfortable on the horse and encouraged to keep learning. Also, I have rode 3 different horses and they have all been beautiful. You can tell they are very well cared for and are very well-trained and sweet.

For nearly three years my daughter has been a student of Brides Equestrian Center. She has taken private & group lessons, attended Pony Club and seasonal ridding camps. Ruthanna and her amazing trainers are professional, experienced and personable.
In the beginning, my daughter was timid and unsure of herself as a rider. The Bridges team extended patients and compassion while teaming her up with well trained ponies to help gain her confidence.
To date, she has excelled in her riding ability and is an active member of Pony Club. Bridges Equestrian Center has helped my daughter learn how to believe in herself, while building her skills as a rider. Pony Club has also proven to be a positive experience for learning how to care for horses, be a part of fund raising events and make new friends. Thank you Bridges!

I'd been struggling with my daughter; she was frustrated at school, every other activity we tried for her was a bust. She got kicked out of soccer, marched out of dance class, gymnastics, swimming and I had been getting calls and emails weekly for behavior issues with classmates and teachers. I read somewhere that horseback riding was a good way for kids to learn self control, get exercise, develop compassion and learn responsibility.
I called and spoke to Ruthanna about getting her in lessons and about my concerns. She was sympathetic, offered me fantastic advice and we got my daughter signed up.
Five weeks later, I have an entirely different child. So far she's had lessons with Lu, Lauren and Rhi and each time she's come back full of pride and confidence. They set the bar high for her and have been gently guiding her to be the best she can be. She feels safe, believed in and important. I've watched the staff not only with my child, but with other riders; they're professional, patient, compassionate and are fantastic mentors to these kids. This is, bar none, the best thing we've ever done for my child, and Bridges Equestrian stables and staff have made an enormous difference in her life. Absolutely, ride here.

I grew up loving horses and riding them at fairs, but i never took a lesson. So when i was 9 I went to my first horse camp at bridges. Now that i am older i take some lessons there and i could honestly say that is the best thing ever!!!!! Everybody at Bridges is so nice and funny it is like a second home to me!
