Great lounge option to have at Newark, finally something for priority pass users. The lounge is located in the middle section of terminal B. That said, if you have a flight from another section you can access the lounge, but you will have to reclear security at your section. The lounge is huge and spacious, so many seating options and areas and was very quiet in the morning priority pass hours. The food spread is very small during these hours so maybe don’t come hungry but otherwise very solid option.
Don’t expect proper food here in the morning. This “deli bar” hosts only oatmeal and cheerios. Not even a single piece of bread. The muffin and yogurt was not refilled. Basically don’t come with an empty stomach. Staff present was nice though, her kindness was the only warmth we got, since the food were all cold.
visited November 29 when they finally opened. If I could give this zero stars I would. We were "greeted" by a lady who seemed to be bothered we were even there, oh and she was late opening. After trying to "figure" out how we were getting in,.then she was annoyed by the fact here nails had broken. You would of thought we weren't customers. All she did was complain, God forbid she was given a job where she had to actually work. As everyone else describes the food is bad, hardly any choices. And there is a qr code to scan, however it's not for all of us. Absolutely the worst lounge experience ever and we have been to many many lounges all over the world.
Nothing speaks quality like being served moldy apples and pears. Disgusting. There are almost no food options available in this lounge up to 2pm. The tables are dirty and the lounge isn’t being cleaned. Embarrassing for British Airways.
Possibly the worst lounge in a developed country I have been to. 930am and the only thing hot is coffee machine. Bread has run out for breakfast. I knew something was fishy when the lady didn't want to let me in to check the facilities before I decided to check in. She claimed it was the cameras. I guess if the cameras were on, they would see members coming in and then leave without checking in. Got to go back in cos my flight delayed repeatedly. Finally left at 1pm and the only hot food at that point was soup. Not surprising as the chef was sitting in the dimly lit restaurant checking email all the while.
Not good 1. Its in gate 50 so if u r in different gate u hv to security check-in twice 2. At 9 am hardly anything to eat except oatmeal, cookie, coffee and drinks. No hot breakfast. At 10 am they put some cold cuts and no option for vegetarians. The QR code to order food said this service not available. On a possitive note the lounge is big and clean O
Thank you to Rosa in the BA Newark lounge for making my last day in NY so pleasant . I’ve had 5 super days in NY , and to finish off with great service and friendly banter here prior to my flight home was just perfect. The food and drinks .. plus outstanding service puts the UK to shame .
Excellent lounge at Newark Terminal B. Opened at 3pm. Super friendly team at the front desk as well as taking care of fliers through the lounge. Some food offerings are self-serve, but you can also order online from your seat. Good choice of served drinks available. As well as British Airways, the lounge took care of AerLingus passengers.
Pretty standard looking BA lounge except for the buffet which was basically empty: no bacon, no sausage, a smattering of dried scrambled eggs, nearly dried up baked beans, stale cake and muffins. There were no coffee cups so we had to drink coffee out of small soup bowls. And this at 7am. Every few minutes a man from the kitchen would come out, look at the near-empty buffet and then go back into the kitchen — but do nothing. This, coupled with grumpy staff. Seriously bad.
“There’s a sign at the front door that says 8:00-2:00 for Priority Pass…” I get it lady, you didn’t make the dumb rule, but you don’t have to be so nasty. There are more important things to get angry at than someone missing tiny sign on a door with four other signs.
