Pretty basic. Toilets clean. Food selection limited to soup at lunchtime. It was nice. Plenty of soft and alcoholic drinks for free. Very quiet as well. When we were here, only about 5 people in the lounge.
Wow, what a mediocre place. Very small, very basic lounge. Toilets are shabby, no showering facilities, more like a tired office space. Food thoroughly unappetising dry pasta with jarred peppers and tinned black beans, scones so dry they’re acting as dehumidifying blocks and Jacob’s Creek wine. Sanitary dispenser empty. Not really worth going to. Pleasant staff.
Very basic lounge. Very meagre food options. Seats are basic, just slightly better than the seats in the public area. No recliners or showers. They have a decent selection of hard liquor which wasn't useful to me at 8 am. Internet wasn't working. Unless you want to drink alcohol, there isn't much point in using this lounge.
This Air Canada lounge is relatively new. They were open for about a few years now but it's not one of the best lounges Air Canada has to offer. Situated in a corner of Terminal A, this lounge often feels cramped and small. This is mostly due to the fact that Newark has tons of delays causing the lounge to fill up to capacity. Not until a few months ago did they start serving alcohol. Also the food is about average with mediocre fare such as pasta and chips and salsa. The business center section is quite small with about 3 tables each fitting 2-3 people. The staff at the front are generally pleasant however the other staff in the lounge just have a sour look on their face and do not really know customer service. On a positive note, the refrigerator is always stocked with water and other beverages and the washrooms are well maintained.
Good offering is really limited: biscuits, toasts, cereal, bananas and oranges. Place is clean and looks good. The biscuits were hard and old.
Located at terminal A right after security check. Clean, quiet and small lounge. They could improve their breakfast options as they only offer cold food.
A disappointment to say the least. The meal is less than desirable and the area is very outdated, wifi may as well not exist and the furniture is showing incredible wear and tear.
Staff were making their rounds often to ensure the place was clean. Somebody must've spilled some coffee before I arrived, and the carpet was quickly cleaned up while I was there. Seats were comfortable and plentiful, as well as having a computer area where you can set down a laptop in front of you. I'm rating it three stars mostly because of the cleanliness and comfort. Amenities were lacking. Food is very basic, offering muffins, cereal, coffee, orange juice, and some self-service liquor. There may have been some oatmeal as well. Other lounges I've been to have had bartenders and many different foodstuffs made fresh that you can choose from. The only things being made fresh here appeared to be the muffins. By far, this was a better place to wait for a flight than at the gate, but this was not the best a lounge can be.
Coffee, tea, basic breakfast pastries, bananas and clementines. Alcohol was off limits in the AM.
This place is not very Priority Pass friendly. On one hand, I get it. They want to reserve space for the AC frequent flyers. On the other hand, they aren’t very friendly and they really should have signs up. I was lucky enough to make it in after checking back with them a half dozen times during a 4 hour layover. The poor lady behind the front desk was getting yelled at every half hour. Why they don’t have a wait list you can sign and be notified when seats open up is beyond me. The food selections are very limited and while they have beer, there is no liquor. Seats are comfortable and the staff was quick to bus tables.
