United Airlines Polaris Lounge

I have visited the Polaris Lounge about a dozen times since it opened and I always have a pleasant experience. The lounge is high-end, a lot of great food options the buffet and a sit-down dining section. The open bar features top-shelf liquor and many wine options. The bathrooms, changing/shower rooms and are spacious and clean, and the service is generally very good. It can get crowded before peak flight hours 3pm-6pm, so I suggest arriving an extra 30 mins early to really enjoy all the offerings. If you happen to take the morning flight to London, the lounge is nearly empty. In summary, the Polaris Lounge is a nice way to kick off a first class flight to wherever you may travel.

Food was exceptional. Drinks kept flowing and the view out the window of all the gates was really really cool. We even had a chance to watch a United retirement flight where they gave them the water canon salute. Our server Banessa was super friendly and attentive.Food: 5/5

We came here very early in the morning. They had variety of breakfast items. Very specious place with lots of sitting arrangements. We stayed for almost 12 hrs & was surprised to see that the lounge never got over crowded…so we were able to sleep and take rest. The staff are wonderful! Non-stop working to keep serve everyone, keep everything neat & clean. Thank you!!

Very crowded and always a a wait but the wine selection is good we had the Prisoner Cab which was great and their signatures hamburger which is always very good and also a MacAllan scotch. A nice break while we were waiting or our connectionFood: 4/5

Nice place to relax for a bit. Much quieter than other places in the airport. Wasn’t very busy while I was there. Food is pretty good too.Food: 5/5

The United club at terminal A at Newark NOT POLARIS International Airport was clean, and very spacious. The food/snack choices were mediocre but fine. It stinks that they changed their policy; only letting a member have 2 guests. It used to be for a family of four. The staff was great, very courteous and super nice.Food: 3/5
