Brown Dog Ice Cream

Hands down best ice cream I've ever had! They always rotate flavors so everyday is something new for everyone. The shop itself is cute and has a classic ice cream parlor feel. They are always so friendly and you also get a lot for what you pay for! We travel up there from NC for a day trip just to grab a scoop!

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Very friendly, fast, and helpful staff. Go early in the day for a better flavor choice. It's made fresh, so when they run out, they're out until the next day.

The weirder the flavor the better. Anything goat cheese is a winner. If you go more than a few times, they’ll likely remember what you had the last time. You simply must pet the actual Brown Dog. Sometimes he rolls up in the golf cart for an ice cream tune-up. Probably the best ice cream on the seaboard.

We always have to go here when visiting Cape Charles. Ice cream is delicious. Even if you see a line out the door, don't turn around it's worth it!

Free samples of flavors of the day. (All of them I tried were delicious!) Any flavor can be made into a milkshake, so you can order that, cups of ice cream, or ice cream cones with homemade waffle cones! Doggie treats for sale, in addition to shirts and hats. Small area for seating indoors, but there is an outdoor patio, complete with water dishes available for your fur baby.
