Kilwins Chocolates and Ice Cream

Stopped by here to have some ice cream. As we sat down to enjoy it, we saw an employee start making some dipped apples without any gloves on whatsoever. We saw him multiple times wipe his nose and itch his beard as he continued to grab apple after apple. Pretty gross if you ask me. Employees should be trained to use gloves at all times. Especially if you’re preparing something in front of your clientele.

Classic retro sweet shop! I love everything about this place. The hand dipped ice cream, fudge and chocolates, the atmosphere, and the fact that you can see them making the chocolate! It's not just dessert, it's an experience.

We walked into Kilwins Chocolates and Ice Cream in Williamsburg, VA ONLY to use their restroom, but you know what happened! We ended up sampling and buying sorbet, ice cream and fudge! The most remarkable thing was how accommodating and caring the staff was. The young lady who served us went downstairs to get a brand new container of sorbet and scoop just to ensure there would be no cross contamination of allergens. That is customer service! Amazing place! Hands down the best ice cream - highly recommend! Great evening hours for that awesome desert on your way back to the hotel!

Literally the best ice cream and fudge I've ever eaten and I've tasted a lot of ice cream! The Louisiana praline pecan was AMAZING!! The cones are a little pricey but worth it!
