Budget Truck Rental

**NOTE; DESPITE BUDGETS WEBSITE SAYING THIS LOCATION HAS AFTER HOURS DROP-OFF, IT ACTUALLY DOES NOT** Convenient, easy to get to location. Easy in an out uncrowded lot. Charles is extremely helpful and gives excellent customer service.

This was HANDS DOWN the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life! First, when I walked in, the employee did not acknowledge me at all. He didn't even look up at me to say a simple "hello". He was rude and very condescending the entire time. I'm not exactly sure of his name but he had a strong accent. He also told me to go outside and inspect the truck myself. Having never rented a moving truck or even a car for that matter, I was confused as to what exactly I was looking for. I was not given any direction or assistance from him at all. I noticed another couple outside doing their own inspection as well and they were even more confused than I was. I guess the employee decided to take a break while we were outside in the heat "inspecting" the truck...when I went back into the office, this man had the nerve to be on a personal phone call. I told him that there was a warning light showing on the dashboard of the truck and he asked me what did it look like. I described it in the best way I could as I am no car expert and did not know what the warning signal meant. The employee continued to stare at me as if I was supposed to know what it meant. I asked him if he could go outside and check it. He looked aggravated and annoyed that I even asked him and he said "GIVE ME THE KEYS." It took ALL of me to remain calm and not go off on him. My brother was there with me also and witnessed this man's poor attempt to service us. This employee is just wasting valuable payroll and getting by without even attempting to provide customers with a decent level of service. This experience has made me never want to rent from Budget again. I know for a fact that I will NEVER return to the E 25th Street location ever again. Along with this review, I will be getting in contact with Corporate to voice my concerns because this is absolutely unacceptable!

I'm giving it 1 star because 0 is not available. This has been the most unpleasant experience I have ever encountered while moving. Customer service is unprofessional and they do not want your business. They excepted my reservation and when I arrived there was nothing available. The person behind the desk said this is common. What? You regularly promise a service you may or may not Perform. That's just tacky and I will tell every single person I ever meet what happened to me on an already stressful day. I haven't been on Facebook in over a year but I'm going to post about the worst company ever Budget!

Called me at 10am to inform me that they did not have a truck for an 11:30am pickup.

We returned our truck yesterday. Nobody was here, someone finally showed up. We sat through her attempting to turn off the alarm, and a whole slew of personal phone calls. Upon completing the return we were informed that there was no money available to return our deposit. We were told to come back the next day before 12pm. We showed up to find the building locked. We calls the owner, one Dwight Swaby. He was extremely rude as downright nasty. He told us he would be there when we would be there and we would just have to wait. We called Budget corporate and they were not any more helpful.while I am filling this our Dwight finally showed up. He came racing into the parking lot, said nothing to me. I walked up to him , he handed me the cash, without verifying anything, and walked into his office. Horrible experience! However, the facility in Denver colorado was very nice to deal with.
