Budget Truck Rental

there’s one guy, who reminds me of the actor justin long, is amazing. i can’t rate him & his energy high enough. HOWEVER…. brandi….. her whole vibe is trash, her energy is all bad vibes. she’s petty & DISRESPECTFUL. she apparently looks down on anyone who is different, saying “people like you would just take advantage of….” umm PEOPLE LIKE WHO? it makes me laugh now but she throws her position around bc shes “untouchable” from any complaints bc she pays all the bills at that location. i have used budget for cars, trucks…. for all my needs and never have i had an encounter like i had today. i walked in, perfectly fine & left out thanking god i have self control. maybe she was just having a bad day, but i felt her whole energy off from the moment i walked in. after an exhausting few days, i did not have the time or mental caliber to deal with someone so unprofessional. not after having 18 years of customer service & owning my own business. never in life has anyone ever tried me as she did. i will never recommend her location to anyone, she tried to credit herself, “because of me we found you a truck.” mmm hmmm, with a check engine light that came on but she says that “always” happens. NEVER HAS BEFORE THOUGH. budget customer service did what they could to make it right. just go to a different location. i see now there’s horrible customer service reviews and i see why! save yourself the headache and go somewhere they’re respectful. also, if she replies to this- i will be ignoring it. my friend who was on the phone with me was appalled at what she was hearing from brandi’s mouth. straight up needs an energy cleanse.

Made a reservation 1 1/2 months before my move date. I get a call the afternoon before telling me they don’t have the truck for me. No further help provided other than a corporate phone number to call. I called to ask if another location could provide me with the truck and they said I’d receive a call back within a couple hours. Needless to say I didn’t get a call back. One of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with.

Wasn't happy yesterday to be told they don't accept chime cards for me to be told my reservation would be there the next morning. The man was very happy helpful speaking of their 300 cars, for the lady to be very crusty saying no cars and 38 people ahead of me. Why would the Uber app not state these things?

The customer service is acceptional. The new manager Brandy is very good at her job. She is great with customers. I highly recommend this place.

Didn't have the van i booked or anything else for me to take.... Then they charged me a no show fee of $75!! I should charge you for wasting my time! Terrible customer service. 1 star is 1 too many

Not the nice lady at the office's fault. Put in a reservation for a 12' truck. Showed up, no truck available. It's the same for Uhaul, so the parent companies are predatory and not good companies. And then a truck pulled up and Karissa, the nice lady at the desk worked harder than any I've seen to get the truck ready for me. 10/10 would go back for the customer service from Karissa. 0/10 would not move again.

Needed a cargo van for a local office move. Budget was a bit higher than U-Haul, but they had the cargo van available, and the location is convenient, so we reserved. Easy and quick pick up and drop off, great customer service, and the van worked well.

Made a reservation for a moving truck online. Called the day before to confirm my reservation and was confirmed that all was good. Showed up at the scheduled time for a truck and they had no truck for me “the last one was just taken moments ago” is what I was told. Weird considering I had a confirmed reservation for a 12’ truck. They tried to offer me a 26’ truck as an alternative which wouldn’t fit in my city street, in my apartment complex or that I was comfortable driving. I couldn’t take the huge truck that I didn’t reserve. They left me on moving day with no truck and in a big bind. I had to scramble to get another truck from the hone depot and get moved because obviously my lease was up and I had to move that day. Days later Budget still charged my credit card $75 for not showing for my reservation. Are you kidding me? I showed, YOU didn’t show. When I called corporate to get the charge refunded I had to argue with them to get it refunded and then got a “one time courtesy refund because they were doing me a favor but next time I’d have to take the alternative offer or get charged”. THERE WONT BE A NEXT TIME!!!! never again will I use budget truck.

I was given a truck cargo van that was extremely dirty, chips on the windshield, and ... to top it off.. the gas tank was leaking. I noticed on my first fill up, 400 miles away from the city in the middle of nowhere. Had to report it, but first o had to make it safe to a town location. Sounds like this location had terrible management.

DO NOT GO HERE! Reserved well in advance, called ahead of time to verify, came in ten minutes early. Attendant said internet was down and had to deny thirty people the day before and told me he can’t give me a truck today for the same problem. Gave me no alternatives, I just had to leave and look for a truck last minute. Don’t waste your time with Budget Truck Rentals. Garbage corporation
