My version of a walking trail may differ from yours, but this is a nice, quiet trail with lots of opportunities to see abundant wildlife, even in the winter. It splits up in a few places and some trails look like they're leading you to someone's yard, but I have yet to be shot at. It's minimally maintained, very few parking spots off to the side of the road, but it doesn't have a lot of traffic, being a dead end road with only 5 or so houses farther down.

Well marked 2 mile walking & biking trail around Buffalo Lake. This trail has some roots, rocks and ruts that are well suited for Mountain bikes. Relaxing trails right in town.
