Pope Lick is part of a larger group of parks, called the Parklands. There are bathrooms, soccer fields, and walking/running trails accessible via Pope Lick. You can also jump on the Louisville Loop, which is a 100+ mile long trail. 19 miles of that trail runs along Floyd's Fork Creek, within the Parklands. The paved trail winds along the creek and through beautiful farms and woods. It's my favorite place to bike in Louisville. Definitely worth a visit.

Great park, but a left-hand turn is usually very dangerous when leaving. Like everywhere else in Louisville, a traffic light is inevitable.

Was here for the Haunted House that was part of Danger Run in 2017. The Haunt was ok - the flashlights that changed depending on where one was on the path was a cool touch, but the individual stations were only moderately "spooky".

Best place in the state to go for a protected ride or run. Can't be beat.
