Waverly Park

Mountain bike trails are fantastic. Definitely the best in this area. Also the dog park is great! Quite spacious and wooded. More fun then a big open field for my pups. The pond is lovely and completly frozen right now.

If you lived close by or it's not too far of a drive nice park to take a walk or do a little fishing or have a picnic and throw frisbee or hang out with your kids or show them a little nature really has a lot to offer if you look around. Kind of off the road some but it's a nice little Park.

Waverly is a nice park with a big pond and nice scenery. The pond is stocked from time to time and you can go and catch panfish (bluegill and sunfish), Trout and catfish. If your bass fishing you better off skipping Waveerly due to high bank pressure. Overall cool little spot.

Excellent MTB trails. Well made and well maintained. Over 10 miles of singletrack with various levels of difficulty mostly due to climbing sections. The trails are a blast but you definitely have to work for the downhill sections, be prepared to climb some hills. Remember; do not ride if it is muddy. Park by the kids play area, cross the road and climb.

Best XC trails in Louisville. I love the parklands, but this place is my go-to for MTB riding. Doesn't get the credit it deserves.
