This place is amazing but be prepared to do some walking up and down some very high hills, but well worth the adventure, it overlooks the town of West point as well as the Ohio River with some beautiful scenery to boot. Well worth the adventure wear your hiking gear.

Great slice of history up a steep quarter mile paved hill. Thank goodness some Boy Scout installed benches to rest upon on the trudge up. A lot of men died building this earthwork fort. It sits high above West Point and the confluence of the Ohio and Salt River. Some interpretive signage relates the history. Restrooms at the top.

This is a great historical location. The walk or ride to the top of the fort is strenuous. There are three bicycle trails clearly marked by yellow, red or blue bicycles painted on trees. These are mountain bike trails.
