First, they tell you it is fast pace. It is fast pace.
Second be prepared to deal with people who say they are adults. Yet do nothing but whine and moan about how they don't get thought. Yet those same adults blame others for them not putting in the work. The staff and instructors give you all you need to accomplish to pass. I felt sorry for the staff and the security. They had to baby sit 21-60 year old whining babies.
The staff works very hard and short staff to get 50 or more people through the program.
I would do it again. BECAUSE the feeling you get when you got the CDL, makes it all worth while.
Ryan Mendenhall and his team are hard working great bunch of people.
The England's have a great team at the school that are very patient and very highly intelligent.

My name is Charles Maxwell I’m a new hire. From Salt Lake City. I attended the school it was fast paced but I love every minute I’ve been here. I enjoy all of my instructors and trainers. I learned a lot and they told it in the way that you can be understood. They make you feel alive family from the very start

I'm not going to tell you how good/bad of a company this is. Instead I absolutely recommend that you talk to someone who isn't in corporate/training/management. Ask every question you can about the experience from at least 7-10 drivers themselves. Don't just buy whatever sales pitch this company tries to sell you. Do your research. See their lawsuit history. Protect yourself.

Let's get some things clear for everyone thinking about working and/or training here. You are treated like a new college student from the moment you get here. They put you up in a dorm room with anywhere from one to eight people of the same sex. Then they provide towels not wash clothes. The 6k they charge you is because they have a faintness room, game room, books on a shelf, barber shop, two t.v. areas down stair and two up stairs, a bank, restaurant, sprint, convenience store, movie theater room, and last buy not least CDL Training. This time here is not paid so have money for personal hygiene, food, etc. As well as being your own towels and wash cloths. Everyone that works here hasn't a clue what they are doing. They have security playing receptionists, house keeping, hotel etc. They aren't capable of even playing security let alone all that. Bring all neccessary documents better safe than sorry. This is a frat school. Majority of the people being hired here are between 21 and 26, clueless as to what good pay looks like, no regard for safety, no comprehension of consequences for their actions, all because owners have a bottom line (Money). I want to let everyone know that this is insanity.

I feel bad for these people that work for this company. They have LOTS of limitations and dont get anything from their company. First, their drivers can go a maximum speed of 62mph. They are major governed trucks. At least give them 66-68 mph.
Their drivers FREEZE during the winter time. Their trucks do NOT have an APU in them to heat their drivers and the trucks turn OFF due to automatic idle restrictions. SO NO HEAT if they are STUCK at a truck stop during a winter outtage. This means their driver has to re-switch on the ignition constantly and NOT sleep.
These trucks are nearly stupidly automated. and automation is supposed to be "intelligent". The bottom line is. These are giant robotic carts going down the road with some ill-treated person at the controls.
