Cacique Restaurant

Food is good. Portions are generous. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is bright, if a bit cold. Service depends on who you get. One visit, we were comped for order mistakes. Another, we were served the food with the appetizer. On popular nights, there is often 45 min to an hour wait. It's a new place and may need time to reach their stride. Again, the food and value were good and worth giving them some time.

Excellent food with an excellent staff and lots of charm. The host today kept calling my daughter senorita which tickled her pink. She loved her quesadilla and I loved my fajita. Never had a bad experience here.

Food is too expensive. Service is not good, takes super long to have someone attending you even when the restaurant is closed. Claims to be Mexican but doesn't taste like it. Ambience is more as if it is an "American European" restaurant. Food was not well done or prepared. Servings are as disappeared from plate (Too little, they don't serve enough for what you're paying).

Went there last Friday on a recommendation. Very very good. Not typical Mexican. A Spanish menu as well as Mexican. Tablecloths and linens , excellent food and service. Not your typical Mexican upscale and we will definitely be back!

I recently took my wife for dinner for a celebration. The staff was nice but the food was watered down and a bit bland. They say Spanish inspired......However it was really really toned down. Example. Every Mexican or Spanish / Peru/ Argentinean/ Brazilian/Cuban spot I have ever been to serves salsa and chips. Chips where stale and there salsa was tomato water with salt n pepper. Not like anywhere/everywhere else Ive been has at least like a paste picante or better. This wasn't even that. Over priced for what it is. 2 stars.
