Don't even bother going to Cafe Du Monde and waiting in that long line! This place is AMAZING! Alton Brown loved it and so did we! We waited like 15 minutes and worth it! Go!
I thought this Café Beignet would be great spot to tuck into some fried dough on a rainy day after some shopping. Unfortunately I came across this "for lease" sign! Don't know how recently they closed since looking for it on 8/12/20...
Been there a few times. Sometimes it feels their beignet is better than cafe du Monde. They have almond dessert which is also very good. I also had gumbo. It was okayish.
Really great place, I enjoyed it. The architecture of the place was amazing. Also I got the Rick Krispy treats, was really good. Also I got some Beignet's they were really good for my first one I ever had.
Great little cafe recommended by Alton Brown from the food network! to get coffee and delicious beignets, they were so light and fluffy and we enjoyed the music
Live music on a Friday night. Food is good for a quick bite. Nicest part of this place is the little courtyard tucked away and the super clean and somewhat elegant looking upstairs bathroom.
Great place I love the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the beignets optimal. Very affordable and lots of seats in case you want to take a break from all the craziness around cafe du monde
Cafe Beignet is a lovely place to get your coffee and beignets in New Orleans. There is never any crazy lines wrapping around the place but the food is great. Of course the coffee and beignets are good they also have wonderful sandwiches as well. I've been here a few times and always keep coming back. Love this location.
Incredible beignets and with 4 locations, you'll be near one when the hunger strikes! In this particular location, I was graced with self-playing piano and the sounds of ragtime. Very cool place for a coffee and sweets.
