Cake Carousel

I was at the shop today to get a must needed item. Nobody was helpful. Not at all!! The last 2 trips to this store have been terrible. The staff seemed too preoccupied to help. Even though there isn't anything else going on. They don't seem to be current with trends. When I asked about a product I felt like I was getting the eye roll from the older lady. Even though I feel like I knew more than she did. How in the heck are these people still in business? Oh and a clambshell cupcakes box for $3, no flipping way. Some of the prices are good, but the boxes are out of control. What boxes they had. Just not impressed. Not for the drive.

UPDATE: I was watching a news story about bad reviews and it made me think to check on this one. My Yelp review (which I made a yelp account just to submit) is an exact copy of my previous here and was removed sometime in the last 3 years likely flagged by the owner as fake. It is only visible to me when I am logged in as of this time and does not indicate that it was flagged or deleted while google still retains the original review. The owner contacted the girl I mentioned in my first review 3 years ago and asked her to ask me to remove it. The character of the owners of a business should be available for all to see, and as you can see from other reviews on the internet we are not the only ones who have come across this behavior. The owner can't silence them all. I am including a screenshot of the original review on yelp while logged into my account and a time/date stamp. I was going to ask the girl I wrote about to marry me if this had been a stable full time job. It's amazing the difference $8 an hour could make when wanting to start a family. It is 3 years later, and I will finally be able to do it soon. The owner of this business should be absolutely ashamed of herself. She posted a wanted listing for a full time clerk. A position to which a young girl I know applied, and beat out "8 other applicants" according to the owner. That young girl gave two weeks notice to her other job, while working at Cake Carousel on her days off anticipating and being excited for every day she got to work in a cake shop, striving to keep busy and learn everything she could about the inventory. Each day for the short time she was there she would tell me about what a good say she had learning more about cake stuff. Despite all of these good signs of her working out at this job, that girl just called me in tears saying she was fired from her NEW job! What exactly was she fired for? Negligence? no. Rudeness? no. Simply, she was fired for "not knowing enough" after working a total of 5, that is FIVE days! They interviewed her, went over her resume, had her references, and dropped her without a lick of warning after only 5 days! What a terrible way to toy with people and run a business!

I very rarely write reviews on companies, but I felt the need to write this. Cake Carousel has been making my son's birthday cakes for the past 3 years and they never disappoint. They helped me in a bind my very first year with them and they have been amazing every year after. I can give them any picture and they replicate it flawlessly, no matter how elaborate. Not only do the cakes look amazing, they taste outstanding as well!!!! I am so grateful to them, they make the parties I throw ten times better!!! Every year people ask me where I get my cakes and I'm proud to say Cake Carousel!!! I will use them every year for all my cake needs and you should too!! If you're going to spend money on a special cake, make sure it tastes as amazing as it looks!! Great job Cake Carousel, I can't thank you enough for all the "oohs" and "aahhs" we get!!!

Has what you need if you need candy or cake supplies. Lots of molds and candy boxes. Decently priced, but higher than you can find online. The good thing is you can get it now if you need it now, and you see exactly what you are buying. The ladies who run the store are chocked full of great knowledge and tips, too, and they have a rewards program.
