Cal'z Pizza

I absolutely love Cal'z. For the cheap price of the pizza, it tastes really good and I would say it's better than everything I have had in Virginia Beach. Also, every encounter I have with staff at Cal'z since I started going in 2018 is always positive. It is so unfortunate that Cal'z had to close some locations due to not having enough staff. They have an amazing business and I wish for nothing more then for it to flourish. Big props to one of my favorite spots in Virginia Beach!

We've recently moved by this place and I have ordered 3 times in a little over a week! Safe to say I am hooked! Lol. Great food, great prices, amazing service and it's quick! I've found my favorite go to for pizza! ,

First congratulations on 40 Years in service !!!! If you want a True Hampton Roads Local Spot this is It !! Pizza is a great price and absolutely delicious !! Best Wing’s ever in Hampton Roads don’t even bother to get your Wings from anywhere else ! The club Sub is awesome you can make two meals out of the sub !!!!! First night of football I called in for a whole meatball sub, half of steak and cheese with extra meat, 10 bone in mild wings. They told me it would be ready in 20 min. I get there 30 mins later and they tell me my wings haven't been dropped but my subs are ready. I wanted my wings so I choose to wait for them to be cooked. We asked for well done from the beginning. I asked again to make sure that the wings I had to sit and wait 20 extra minutes for to be well done and they were NOT!!!!

The food was ready for pickup when stated but the "large salad" was pretty small with only about the equivalent of one chicken finger on it. They got the sauce for the chicken on the salad incorrect and I ordered my sandwich with no lettuce and it came with lettuce. We will not be returning.

The boneless wings and chef salad were not worth the price. In addition, I ordered delivery and the wings were not sauced, so basically I received tiny chicken fingers. I would recommend ordering from another pizza chain for delivery.Recommended dishesPepsi 2 Liter Bottle

We ordered a sub. I specifically asked for the sub to be toasted and gutted. When we got home the sun was COLD, thick of bread and not good. The bread wasn't toasted at ALL. Because of health, I have to have the bread gutted but after bitting into this cold sub I tossed the entire sub. What a waste. This was supposed to be a quick meal to take with my medications but that ended poorly. I don't think I'll be ordering from this location again for a while. This was the second bad experience. The service is good and they are friendly just not good on food preparation. The pizza was very doughy and not as cheesy.

I had not had calz in a very long time like the 90's there wing omg and there Italian cheese bread hit the spot and there cinnamon sugar bits and and everything changed from when I was there but over all everyone there from lastnite Was so nice and very helpful to me thank you and I will be back soon

My half of sub was cold, no oil and mainly bread. A small order of pizza logs consist of two mini egg rolls stuff with pepperoni and cheese which was cold. Total cost including a drink was 23.69.

We had stopped in after our neighbor back at home in Buffalo, NY recommended it to us as he worked here with his uncle for a few years. We ate the three cheese pizza and bacon cheddar fries. The pizza had an excellent crust that was nice and crunchy on the outside and there was a perfect mix of cheese and dough. The sauce is perfect and isn't too sweet or watery like most other pizza shops. The fries were tasty and crunchy which is bonus points for me and barely had any grease on them. I would definitely recommend Cal'z to anyone in the Virginia Beach area and will stop back when we are in the area again. Thanks to Don for the swag!
