I have lived in this town my entire life. And never in my life have I ever encountered anything as outrageous as this ten dollar parking fee. It’s not even the summer, but now we’re expected to pay for parking? If I don’t have a sticker, fine. But if I have it on my phone, and I’m not driving? No, you have to be driving the car with the sticker. It’s not even a nice beach. It’s the kind of beach you go to if you want to commit suicide, or really mess up your feet; be it by the rocks or the goose poop. This beach isn’t even worth ten cents, and you won’t be getting any from me.

Calf Pasture Beach is a really nice place to go for a walk along the Long Island Sound. There's a wood boardwalk and a pier. There's free concerts during the summer and shady spots for barbequing. There's a plaground for the kids. I wouldn't count on swimming here; if it's low tide the water is stagnant. If it's high tide it's just okay for swimming. There's no waves so no boogie boarding or surfing. But it's a beautiful quiet spot for relaxing along the Atlantic Ocean. But you have to have a park pass to gain entry or you'll have to pay a fee to get into the park. If you're into quiet public parks along quiet beaches then Calf Pasture Beach is the place to go if you're in Norwalk, CT.

The crowned jewel of Norwalk. Maybe the best thing the town has going for it! They've really done a nice job at making this a nice place to go!
