Jennings Beach

So beautiful and peaceful. We went arround 3 pm, and there was only a handful of families on the beach. There are lods of tables with benches along the beach. If your looking for a view of some light houses, there is about 3 of them in the distance. Parking is free, and restrooms 🚻 are available for use. There is a little shop on the beach with snacks popcorn and popsicles. I didn't see any hot food though, but it looked like they could make it. Good place to have some good family fun, or alone time.

We turned up at this beach at a weekend based on reviews here. We were shocked to be asked to pay 50 dollars to park for the day. We declined as thunder showers were expected that afternoon. We tried other beaches in the area and they all needed a resident permit to park. Do they not want tourists?? We eventually found a place to park and walk 5-10 mins and enter for free.

It’s got an amazing skatepark good for street and bowl riders. The sandcastle kid park is also huge and immensely fun for the little ones. The beach is clean and you can have a bonfire. I mean does it get any better than that??

Clean beach with easy access. Concession during beach season, bathrooms, outdoor showers etc
