Place is quiet. However, there are only a few portable toilets and neither a drinking fountain nor a concession stand. And they have the nerve to charge out of town visitors $20 during the summer! I grew up in that town and live in NYC and it seems as if nothing has changed except the fees which have of course increased. I complained to the department responsible for this beach but they have not really responded. This beach does not have the amenities that Short Beach has and yet they charge $20. Really?
