Just bought my first class A and happy I went with my local Camping World. I was hesitant to buy from such a large dealer but I have been very happy so far from a sales and service perspective. They have addressed every question/issue I had in a reasonable amount of time. Don't just feel like a number but rather a family member even down to the store associates. Each team member regardless of role, have been proactive to go out of their day-to-day responsibilities and try to help answer any questions about my coach or camping in general. I learned a bunch about camping from each member of this location (shout out to Michele in sales and Dave in Finance). Other than that, good perks received for working with a camping giant like Camping World.

Sales experience was enjoyable. Sales associate was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. We let the sales associate know we would come in on a Saturday to look at the travel trailers that we were interested in. We had been looking for so long, we knew what trailer we were going to buy by noon. Still had to come back that week to finish sale.
Sales associate said " sale doesn't end here, let me know if you have any issues/questions"
Took trailer home, clearly little to no time spent prepping trailer to leave the lot. We have had multiple issues from battery terminal connections broken when brought home, to hot water heater plug missing, to leaking sinks.
I reached out to my sales associate to see if he could help me with the battery issue, since I noticed it the day I took the trailer home and service was booked out to two weeks( wanted to use the trailer before i could get it to service) Had to call my sales associate after a few days with no email reply, was told he would take care of it on Monday and let me know. Still waiting to hear back, after two more emails sent, no replies to anything, and a week and a half later.
Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed, the amount of money spent on a brand new travel trailer, and we can't even get an email reply from our sales associate a week later. Not to mention the little things here and there that we have noticed and fixed on our own due to the lack of attention to detail of camping world associates.
Normally wouldn't write a review, but I feel that this kind of experience is unacceptable.

Was extremely well looked after when we required some attention to our slide. Stefanie especially look after us and Ken was kind enough to show us around some potential new RV even though he knew we where just passing through.
If we lived in the area we would definitely use Campingworld Lakewood again

UPDATE:
Received a call last Wednesday from the sales manager, who promised to speak to the service department manager to see what he could do for me. Although he said that he couldn't guarantee me anything, he promised to call me back with a decision. Well, today is Monday night and I haven't heard from him. Not even the courtesy of calling me to tell me that they decided not to assume responsibility for the leak or water damaged floor. That tells so much about their lack of customer service and professionalism. Now my only recourse is to start a small claim court prroceeding and let a judge decide if there is ground to order camping world to reimburse me for the leak repairs and the depreciation of my travel trailer due to the water damaged floor. In addition, I will make every effort to educate future RVs buyers (reviews at online RV sites), to make sure that they do not to trust that "reputable" dealers like camping world, are going to sell you a properly inspected used RV or that they will disclose any existing problem(s) with an unit.
Paying extra for an RV at a dealer is not a guarantee that the unit is ready to be sold. Better to pay a lot less and buy from a private seller, who might be more honest and tell you what is wrong with the unit. I found out the hard way that paying more at a dealer is a false sense of security.
Bought a 2014 Forest River Sport travel trailer on September 2017. Used it a couple of times that month and then in January 2018, I took it to Florida. Well, no problem until it started raining and noticed lots of water running from underneath the slide out. I then noticed the water running underneath the floor carpet and it was then that I realized that the spongy feeling that I noticed on the floor when entering the bedroom, was water damage from all the times the slide out had leaked before. It is obvious that Camping World did not properly inspect the trailer to make it ready for sale or if they did, sold me a known defective unit. I took the trailer to Camping World for repairs last week and after just talking to the service manager, I am looking at having to spend a lot of money to fix the trailer. Although I understand that I purchased an used unit, I don't expect a highly reputable dealership to sell me an obviously defective unit. I need to see what my options are, but I don't believe that I should be responsible for the necessary repairs.
