Canton Smiles: Forster Catherine L DDS

I have been seeing Dr Smith for approximately 3yrs. I used to hate to go to the dentist and would not go regularly but now I go faithfully every 6months. He is the most gentle dentist I have ever been to. Everyone in that office is so kind and friendly I would highly recommend!!! The best I have ever seen!!

Dr Forster is so kind and caring. The dentist office is the absolute last place I want to be! I had an emergency and she worked me in and made me feel at ease. She explains things and takes extra care of those patients who are fearful, like me! She has a top notch staff as well, they are all very nice. I highly recommend Dr Forster! And if you are fearful of the dentist like I am, this is the office for you.

I am always delighted to visit this office! Not only have I received excellent care, Dr. Smith answers my questions patiently and thoroughly, and I so appreciate that. Everyone is so nice and pleasant! Thanks!

The office personnel were nice and reactive to accommodating the need for an urgent appointment, but that's where the it ends. The dentist on duty (not Catherine) was COMPLETELY unconcerned with patient care and finding a solution to the issue. After a few moments poking around, an antibiotic was issued, and absolutely zero compassion was offered, along with NO follow-up (it's been over a week now), and no help or guidance on what the next step(s) should be!? The dentist on duty was unable to perform the necessary root canal to SOLVE the problem, which seems like why you go to dentist school. So they just dismissed the pain and hoped a bottle of penicillin would make up for their inept handling of the situation. Fast forward a week later, and our family dentist who was back from vacation immediately discovered the issue, and FIXED IT with a root-canal (and compassion for the prolonged suffering/pain). After having called off work for a week straight, it all could have been fixed by taking the time to care and if you're not qualified to do a root-canal, refer us to someone who is.

I would highly recommend this office. My first visit to a dentist since I moved here. I felt comfortable the moment I walked in. The hygienist was very knowledgable and caring.
