I ordered the King catfish meal. It wasn't good to me because there was too much batter on the fish. I will stick to the battered catfish or blackened catfish. The loaded potato and broccoli was delicious.

Good food. I enjoy the batter dipped fish and all the fried okra I can stand. Bit of a drive for me but no one in their right mind would open anything nice in south Jackson.

This is by far the Best Captain D's I have ever dined at. Fast and Friendly service. Food is cooked to order and the chefs that prepared my meal are professionals at what they do. Superior cleanliness and attention to detail makes this Captain D's Excel above all others. Definitely will visit this Captain D's again and I recommend anyone to stop by.

It's a little wait time but it's worth it because the food is good & hot!! No problems so far( food, workers, etc!!) This is my go to place on my way home from Jackson!!

This Captain D's is almost always disappointing. When I drive by I think wow I haven't eaten there in a while. After I get my meal I remember why. Restaurant is clean on the plus side.
