Captain's Cove Marine & RV

Great boat dealership! We bought our Bentley Pontoon at the boat show 4 years ago and they have been wonderful! We take it back at the end of every season to be winterized! The staff is fun and very friendly!

We bought our boat here back in January. The boat looked to be in great condition, but we still had a marine surveyor come out and go through the engine and run a few tests. Captain's Cove had no problem with this, but assured us that they throughly check each boat before putting it up for sale. Turned out everything came back good as far as test results etc. We took it out for a test drive shortly after and it fired right up. Junior went through everything on the boat as there were quite a bit of accessories and switches due to the boat being a cruiser and having a small kitchen and restroom. The boat ran great with 6 large guys and my wife. We took it back and signed the papers that day and Kevin put the boat right back in the shop to re-winterize it. We were so anxious to get out on the water so we took the first opportunity we had. We took it out on a gorgeous day and putted around for about an hour until one of the marine gas stations opened up. We fueled up all the way and took off. DISASTER!! As we sped up and put the throttle down all the way the engine began to choke and bog down. While it ran just fine at half throttle and sometimes even at 3/4's of the way down it wasn't right. We immediately called Kevin at Captains Cove and explained what was going on. We dropped it off to him the next day and he took it into the shop during the busiest time of year for buying boats. A week or so later Kevin called me and explained a hose had become clogged and the fuel line wasn't tightly connected. They also replaced a few small items while trouble shooting. Captains cove took care of this on their dime as it was the first time we took it out and the boat had ran just fine before. Now I am not saying they are going to do free repairs on your boat if you buy form them (this was a fluke problem). Not saying that at all. But I can guarantee they will work with you and take care of you the entire time you own your boat. I highly recommend them! Top notch customer service and expertise.
