Story

Carioca (Car-ee-o-kah) Bowls is Portland’s first authentic açaí (ah-sigh-ee) café. Cariocas are the natives to Rio de Janeiro and embody health, wellness, and vitality. The Cariocas were some of the first to embrace the açaí bowl as a staple in the 80s.
We strive to provide the healthiest organic foods and beverages using lots of raw ingredients and sourcing locally as much as possible. Our specialty is to provide the most delicious and nutritious organic açaí bowls topped with local, organic fruits and superfoods.
We also offer organic cold pressed juice and a wide variety of other non-alcoholic beverages on tap or in bulk to fill mason jars / growlers.
Attached to Full Lotus PDX offering classical Yoga by donation and inside Good Life Medicine Center, Carioca truly offers a one stop shop for health, wellness and vitality.
