I picked up my truck today and couldn't be happier! Nick and Buddy gave great advice and I wound up with a great finished product in my 2017 Sierra lift kit and tires/wheels. They took the time to listen to what I was wanting and helped me choose a great combo. Highly recommend! I have only driven thruck a bit today but so far the work seems spot on.

Worst experience I've ever had. Dropped my vehicle off with a list of concerns I wanted them to diagnose. It took 2 weeks for them to finish diagnostics and we played phone tag the entire time. We were told on 3 different occasions that Buddy would be calling us back when we called to check up on the process (we wanted to give them the "OK" to start as soon as possible after we got a parts and prices list). Buddy never called back on all 3 occasions. We got some excuse every time like "Oh Buddy was just about to call you! He went to lunch and will call you back when he gets here." Never got called. Half the time they didn't pick up the phone when we called. We tried using the Contact Us form on their official website and we were later told that it doesn't even work (and we were told in a manner as if that was common knowledge). We were out of town and could not stop by the shop for updates (and honestly we shouldn't have to.) We give them the "OK" to start (but honestly we were about to just have it towed to another shop). They estimated it would take 1 week to finish. We didn't hear from them for 2 weeks so we called. They said it was going to take 2 more business days. We called 3 business days later and it still wasn't ready. One angry 15min phone call later from us and the shop wasn't happy. In fact Buddy never returned our calls until they got a angry phone call from us. Halfway through the conversation, I realize that Buddy isn't even discussing the correct car. He never verified the make/model of the car or my identity to figure out which client he was speaking with. Now everyone is confused. After that phone call the shop got it's act together a bit. He told me it would be done the next day. The next day it wasn't finished but he called and left a voicemail at 6pm (closing time) to keep me informed and I was okay with that. The day after that we were able to pick it up. I wish the story was over. I get my car back and one of the issues I had was a bad door lock actuator motor on the driver's side door. Turns out they installed it incorrectly. If you hit "unlock" it would lock my driver side door and unlock everything else and vice versa. I didn't realize it until I went to open my car in the morning and it was unlocked all night. They installed the wires backwards. Unfortunately I had to return it to the shop to have them fix it again. They claimed it was bad actuator part. Nah, they just installed it backwards and didn't check their work. I confirmed this with my previous mechanic. I got the car back quick and thought the mess was over. Another thing I brought my car in for was because my A/C wasn't blowing cold. When I got the car back, it was blowing cold for a few days and went out again. The issue wasn't fixed. They never mentioned anything about finding a leak but did they even check? I check the receipt and it says they converted my A/C to 134a. I contact my previous mechanic and he tells me my car already had a 134a A/C. He had done several freon recharges in the past for me. I had already taken the car back once to fix the door lock and I'm not returning to resolve this issue. I've had enough. The car was there approx. 5 and 1/2 weeks all together. It is a shame that it took an angry phone call to get a phone call back. Keep your clients informed if you are going to push the estimated finish time back when other higher priority projects come through the door. Admit fault when it's brought to your attention that a mistake was made on your part. Maintain your composure when having a difficult conversation with a dissatisfied client. Don't contact me again unless you want to refund me every dollar I spent. Best of luck to all your future clients.

The guys at Carlton Custom have been working on my Jeep for years! They always do great work, in a timely manner. There fab work is top notch, and there machine shop does awesome work! I had custom axles built for my Jeep several years ago and have had no problems with them at all. I would recommend Carlton Custom for any Truck, Jeep or custom machine work!!!

I am so happy with the the work Barry and the Team did on my car windows! I can finally see clearly and my car looks amazing. Great quick service. Def recommend.
