Had to have Carolina Comfort come out for an after hours emergency call when our heat went out. Great communication and the tech arrived shortly after the call was placed. He ended up replacing the thermostat and the heat started working again. All was good until the next day and the heat went out again. The next tech that arrived found out that it was the heat strips that were going bad and needed to be replaced. While the heat strips were on order I called the office to see about getting a refund or credit on the $200 thermostat that they put in when it was not the problem or needed. They refused to give any kind of credit and did not offer any kind of reason why they would not take back the thermostat when that wasn’t the issue. I ended up cancelling the appointment for them to replace our heat strips and had to find another company. I can’t stand to leave bad reviews but felt like I was being taking advantage of. Hopefully that is not the case but sure seemed like it.Service: Repair HVAC
