Carson Veterinary Clinic

My cat, Tango, and I are new to the area. The first time we tried to take him he freaked out. Did not want to get into the carrier. Dr. Carson, the elder, called and gave me some tips The second time we were successful getting there. We were so lucky to draw Dr Carson, the younger, who is a cat lover himself. The visit was wonderful. He medicated his ears, applied Revolution, and clipped his nails. Tango stayed calm throughout the visit. Everyone in the clinic is professional, personable, friendly and caring. We will definitely be going back and recommending this clinic to everyone we meet. Kudos to a first class operation!

I've never seen any of the other vets here, but Dr. Schmidt is hands down one of the best vets I've ever been to. I've worked with him both personally with my pets and professionally (I work at a pet store). He deals extremely well with exotics (the best in lafayette in my opinion). He always has an idea or solution for everything and tries his hardest to take care of your pets. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. I've never had a bad experience with this vet.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! Friendly staff that truly care about your animals! They also deal with exotic and small animals likes rats, lizards etc. So kind and so understanding!

The doctors take the time to explain everythings. Your not just rushed in and rushed out. The are pretty much on schedule so you see the doctor on time. The also show genuine consern for your pets health and well being.
