Terrible place to live. Horrible experience living here. If you're thinking about moving here don't seriously!

I’m looking to come back home to be closer to my family and decided to check Castlegate out after coming across an ad on fb. The pictures are exactly how they are on the inside the only difference was, was the flooring was a lighter color,however the lady sitting in the front when you first walk in explained that before the tour.

I had a friend & her family stay here in these apartments & came to visit her & even stayed with them for a bit & my experience here was very nice. They keep the grounds clean, it's quiet & peaceful. There was never any problems for the almost 2 yrs they lived here. They have security officers at night that let no one in without checking ID & the name & apartment # of who you're coming to see. My 1st visit here I forgot the apartment # & they had just moved in. It was the evening but still full day light outside & security wouldn't let me in until I called & they told me the apartment # first. I didn't mind because I new then that her & her children were gonna be very safe here. & Security is off duty police officers. I don't think you could find a more safe place to live if you have children & want to let them go play outside & not have to stay inside all the time for fear of there safety. God bless the men that kept them & everyone there safe

Staff is great.. Loving my apartment and the new renovations. I have been here 5 months and whatever minor issues I have had they have fixed. Bridget is really sweet and they do there best to keep it nice looking and clean. But you do have people who don't appreciate anything so they don't care. Overall, I have had no issues.

Annoying that some people take business soooo personal. I haven’t been able to get into my mailbox since Nov 2018 and lately every time I ask I get ATTITUDE. I’m over it and now idk how to get my mail. I miss the folks who talked me into moving into this RATCHET HOLE bc they had some sense and would/could talk to people. A new fridge and sink appliance in the kitchen IS NOT A RENOVATION. When your tub is peeling and you have holes under the bathroom sink that big “water bugs” come out of that’s not worth the rent you request. My closet door fell off the first week I moved in and it took them weeks to come fix it. Everything and everybody moves SLOW around here until it comes to rent. I’ll definitely know to ask more questions when I get another apartment. I will also pay attention to the folks in the community because I have to deal with super nosey neighbors who are always outside to see who’s pulling up or they outside on the steps having a LOUD party. This was my first apartment experience and I’ll think about getting a house next time bc if you are paying extra high rent for convenience perks that you still don’t get or have to beg for it is a headache. Also having people who are the face of the company who are personable and approachable would be a PLUS. Save your money folks and go somewhere in Ridgeland or ANYWHERE but here and spend this kind of money bc this ain’t it.

I will NEVER waste money here again. very unprofessional employees. put a notice on my door for an eviction all because a downstairs neighbor complained that my kids were making too much noise, mind you he had been complaining since the first day of move in he complained cause i was moving my stuff in he complained cause my kids were opening their Christmas gifts, i explained to the office manager and nothing was done about it. but as soon as he makes a complaint there goes a note on the door. & not once did they TRY to come to a resolution and move me instead giving a 30 day notice. If you have little children i reccomend to NEVER MOVE HERE EVERRRR!!! money wasted!!! I wish i could rate 0 but 1 is the lowest! Do NOT WASTE TIME NOR MONEY AND IF THEY SAY U REFER SOMEONE U WILL GET A $300 CHECK DO NOT BELEIVE IT I REFERRED SOMEONE AND NEVER GOT A CHECK ITS ALL ALIE.
