Fastest service I've EVER experienced in social services 😱... everyone was nice helpful and handle my situation promptly

Very poor customer service! It's unreal how rude the employees are for no reason and have personal conversations while purposely ignoring you. They treat you are an inconvenience from the moment they see you. Every time I got a phone interview notice, they never attempt to call. Then they send another notice saying you were suppose to come in and missed your appointment. I could never get my case worker to call or see me in person. I complained to the only employee that is always helpful and very professional- the guy behind the window. He contacted a manager, Ms. Windham, and she was very helpful, professional, and resolved my issue. She is the only reason I gave a star. You will literally sit in that place for hours and cannot use your cellphone! If you go to pay child support, you stand at the window and wait forever for someone to finally collect the PMT. They have the worst phone system. It doesn't matter who you try to call bc they do not answer. Most of the time they wait for you to leave a voicemail and might call you back if they feel like it. Idk if any of the neighboring counties are run any better. Charles County Social Services treats people like they know you have no other option but to go there. I don't know how some of those women qualify as being a state government employees BC they act like volunteers. Sorry I interrupted your irrelevant conversation to ask a question and get a snappy rude response. .. If I am not ignored while they continue gossiping. Its a shame people really need these services and cannot be treated with a little respect.

The Charles County Department of Social Services cares NOTHING for children. I made an emergency call on Monday afternoon. It is now Wednesday afternoon and still no return call. The child could be dead for all they know; but then, they don't care. That would be one less thing they'd have to worry about. Never seen a more slipshod organization in my life. That God I don't live in Charles County or even in Maryland!

WORSE EVER!!! 2 MONTHS OF TAKING OFF WORK AND TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF... FEEL LIKE I SHOULD CALL FOR BEING NEGLECTED!!!!!! AND REPORT THEM

Terrible service! My caseworker has not called me back in a good month now...thanks Ms Simmons price, useless "caseworker"!
