I just wanted to share my terrible experience that I had today at Charming Charlie in West Town Mall in Madison Wisconsin. My friend and I made a purchase and there was a mistake made on behalf of Victoria (cashier). Once we notice we returned and we're directed to the sales counter to have it corrected. (No one said go stand in line, they spoke with each other over electronic devices) We stood behind a customer on the left side of the counter and was TOLD not asked to go to the end of the line because the line started on the opposite side. At that point I asked to speak with a manager because the store was crazy busy and we had already been there a long time and had to come back because of a mistake that they made. She then express that she was that manager and said "I am not helping you until I help all of hers people, the line is over there" I then asked for her name and the corporate number because I felt that was extremely rude of her to say it that way. She then told me "I will not be doing that until after I help these customers that have been waiting" so I stood there and giggled the corporate number on my own. A customer the walked up and told her that I was there before her and she thought that I should be helped first. I declined being that I was on the phone but just before that, the manager said "she's not in line" So when it was finally "my turn" my friend and I both returned everything we purchased because she was SO snotty. She still refused to give her name. She then asked me to hurry and sign my refund slip and leave because her co-worker Victoria and another young lady whose name I didn't get were trying to make excuses for her saying that they "respectively apologize for her and she may be going through something" and I said that I didn't. She called the mall security for what reason I'm not exactly sure, maybe because she was being embarrassed but there was no yelling or any altercation other than her not wanting to apologize or take responsibility for her actions. It's my birthday weekend and this completely ruined my day. I checked the bottom of my receipt and found out that her name was Toni...I am going to make it my business to tell any and everyone I know NOT to spend money in that store.
