Needs to be experienced by all Minecraft enthusiasts. Buy a bucket of sand (price varies according to stones in the bucket) and filter it in water to find some valuable stones. Kids love it. I wish pricing was little bit more reasonable.

Took the kids to "mine" some rocks. Was ok. Kinda expensive for what You get. kids loved it. I thought it was fun. They do try to up sell. Various gems and minerals to show you. Somewhat knowledgeable. Staff that was out by the "mining" part were friendly. Inside... Not so much.

Bought rocks instead of mining. Got exactly What we wanted.

We took my daughter and bought the $60 bucket. I was a little annoyed at the cost at first but we surprisingly had a great time. I would highly recommend this for kids. They have cheaper options and we found some really cool stones. Granted, we aren't having them cut or set but was still a blast.

More expensive that I thought - the lowest option was $40 without any guaranteed gems. $60 gave you a guaranteed gem and some other rocks, and went up from there. The staff was nice, I ended up there when it was pretty slow. The mining was fun, and we bought geodes which they cracked in front of you. You had the buy those at the jewelry shop attached, which was a bit weird. Supposedly you can take your gems to the jewelry store attached and have them commission pieces for you, but we opted out.
