Chenal Pet Palace

Have you seen the remodel? It’s been finished for a while but it’s still fresh and clean! Always smells good in there, someone cares. They do a great job with Baby Boy Hank our 100 lb-er. I think he likes it there. They do a nice job with grooming and room and board! Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good about Chenal Pet Palace. My dog attends day care literally every day of the week (Mon through Fri) and has for several years now. He LOVES day care and I love the staff! I trust them to take care of my fur baby and I can't say that about many people. LOVE Chenal Pet Palace!

The 2 girls that work the front are very polite & they know my dogs name & my dog just wags her tail is super happy! My dog seems to come back cleaner than when I drop off most of the time. I have a puppy that tinkles & rolls in it. They always clean her up so good.

My two dogs were boarded here over four nights. When I picked them up, one of the dogs had dried urine and feces that she sat in (she did not roll in it). There was a ring from the puddle of urine from her back down to her legs and feces was smeared down her back and legs. One of their toys was soaked in urine. I believe the staff did not let them out and they peed and pooped in their room, which was left out long enough for my dog to sit in it. They didn't even bother to clean it off by giving her a bath. I will never trust this place to watch my dogs again.

I'm quite upset with my most recent experience. We boarded 3 kitties here for a week because they let them out to play. The form they had me fill out before intake had a question about whether or not my 4 year old cat is "altered." Not being in the business I did not understand that "altered" means "spayed" or "neutered." Thinking it meant cropped ears or something weird I marked no. Because of this she was not let out of her kennel for her entire stay. I understand it was partly my fault for marking her form incorrectly, but come on. Surely someone should have verified whether or not a 4 year old cat had been spayed. Please please change your form. Most people do not understand this technical term. Now I feel very guilty for my active cat being stuck in a kennel for a week when the entire reason we paid more money was so that she could get some exercise. That being said, the staff was nice, noted they would mark it on her form and we will probably use them again. Please change your form!
