Chesaco RV - Gambrills

I'm currently looking for an RV and have visited twice. The sales person I've been working with has been great she's listening to my wants, needs, concerns and has not been pushy like a used car salesperson. So its been a great experience so far and I'll be deciding on something soon.

Just on Sales experience would have given it four stars. Now when it comes to service. they don't care once they already have your money. Had to wait two and a half months to drop it off. Kept it for 6 weeks said they would call me when Parts arrived. Here it is 8 months later, no calls from chesco. I made several phone calls & store visits. Still no parts. This is how they treat somebody that just spent $$$$ I waited about one year to do my review on this dealer to see if anything has gotten better. Still waiting on a call back to this day.

Worst experience period. We bought our 2017 5th wheel from the RV show in Timonium. First season was (mostly) great. Had some damage to it (my fault) and dropped it off at the store on 1 Oct. Sometime in December, after a formal email to the company, they decided to transfer the RV to the Frederick store. They "fixed" everything and while on the way home, every time I stopped and started, the RV would slam into my tailgate. Later found out that they removed the capture plate from the 5th wheel and put in the front storage area of the RV. I never checked to see if it was on because I had never removed it before. The service manager stated it was my fault for not looking and they would not fix anything. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they are now supposedly looking into what to do. This weekend, took the RV local to make sure everything works before a memorial day trip and three of the things that were supposed to be fixed were not and found a new thing that is broken. Can't get me in until 11 June. I fortunately found another company that is going to take care of me. Stay away from Chesaco. If I could, I would take the RV to their lot, drop it off and walk away forever.

I had an amazing buying experience with them. The sales person Marc and financial manager Rodney were extremely helpful, very polite and friendly through the whole process. They stayed with me after their close of business hours to make sure everything went smoothly. Marc even went with me to the U-haul to pick up the tow dolly and helped me load my car onto it. The demo of everything was also very helpful. Marc even checked on me after I left to make sure I made it home okay. I highly recommend this dealership for all your RV needs and I will definitely be going back.
