Chesterton Bicycle Station

In our little town of Chesterton, you'll find one of the best bicycle stores around. These guys know their stuff when it comes to bike repairs and tuneups. Their store has a very good and wide selection of top knotch bikes and equipment for the young ones up to the roadies. My first stop when I need bike "stuff".

Their service is good, the employees are helpful, but not sure the owner appreciates my business or that I've made several referrals on his behalf.

We were going to Washington DC on a scout trip and were using bikes for transportation. I brought them four Walmart type bikes and was afraid they would be snooty about tuning them up. They couldn't have been more helpful. They got them all back to me the next day and they rode better than they did when new. I wound up buying a new bike for my son and felt it was priced very reasonably. They even stayed open late for me to pick it up as I was delayed on my way home from work. Several other scout families used them also. We were all very happy. Since we are not avid "bikers" I thought it would would be too expensive to buy a bike at a bike shop. Check these guys out before you buy at a big box.
