Wow... just wow... First of all, this place is HUGE! Much bigger than I realized. You could easily spend nearly a whole day roaming around here. Second, it's absolutely gorgeous! Some of the views are just breathtaking. I loved the variety of flora from one garden to the next. And I even got to see some amazing fish and even a beaver swimming nearby.
This place is seriously world class. I've been to Versailles and the Tuileries Garden in Paris. This place rivals those as far as I'm concerned. So happy that this is nearby.

It is an admirable place, with powerful vibes infiltrating to the inside of every human being, that I know of visiting there. The vegetation, birds, sun hugging everything and everybody, friendly stuff everywhere, smiling people all around, all of that makes us coming back. Lucky me, I live only thirty minutes away. We bring easily around fifty pictures from each visit. I suggest taking an actual camera not a cell phone, it's worth carrying an extra weight. Do not forget to inspect the garden treasure shop and cafeteria, and do not forget to relax.

The very best of gardens in that region. Nice parking spots and vast park. Good thing they charge as per car rather than personnel. They had some corporate tie ups and they allow free for car parking for some companies. Good cafeteria and you get to see some marriages / functions happening there. Extensive collection of flora

Stunning botanical garden, complete with tropical and desert greenhouses; exquisite flowers & plants in every nook and cranny; and areas focused by theme: the Japanese garden, English garden, aquatic gardens, and even a "sensory" garden for those with disabilities. At the entrance, a space is set up to show visitors what's in bloom. There is also a gift shop, a restaurant, a gallery, and numerous to sit and relax in the shade while walking through the garden. They have shows focusing on certain flowers or types of flowers; I was lucky enough to see the Iris' on display and purchase a few to plant 😊

Always a fantastic time when visiting the garden. The landscape is in constant change from week to week and season to season. Well thought out and designed infrastructure, blends well with the thousands of varieties of woody and herbaceous plants. There are plenty of scenic vistas for photos and secluded enclaves for self contemplation. It is truly a gem for the Chicagoland area!
