Chicago Kalbi Korean BBQ

Walked in and was immediately seated. Staff was very friendly and you'll notice A LOT of baseball memorabilia. You can tell the owners are big fans. We ordered some stuff to grill - a little on the pricey side but the meat was high quality and the sides that came with it were very good too, even the miso was the best I've tried around. They also use charcoal in their grill, so it's not just some flames underneath a metal plate. Ended up leaving very full and satisfied, definitely got my moneys worth and I hope to come back soon. Street parking wasn't difficult to find too, but my visit was also late at night.

So far the best Korean BBQ experience I've had in Chicago. The green tea ice cream is the greatest tasting dessert I've had at any restaurant period. Also bonus that this place is open late. Love it, will be coming back again and again.

My first Korean BBQ and it was fun and delicious. This place is quaint and cozy. The service is great and you feel like you are sitting in your own dining room or kitchen. I loved it and so will you.

Unbeatable services. Make sure you try their appetizers (they are more like Izakaya in that regard) before diving into the grilled items which focus on quality rather than quantity, you won't be disappointed. Don't miss out on the Sapporo on tab! One of few grandfathered in place that still serves charcoal grills!!
