China City Super Buffet

OMG! This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The entire time we were there we felt we were going to get food poisoning. The only thing I actually ended up eating was an egg roll - everything else I put on my plate ended up being tossed. I seriously (no exaggeration) think they keep serving the same food over and over until it's all gone. It was so very, very bad. The health department needs to take a good look at this place. It really needs to be closed.

Well, first of all let me say I moved to Surprise Arizona from Chicago, so I guess I should not expect a lot out of a Chinese restaurant in the West Valley. Unfortunately I do expect at least a clean restaurant. This Buffet closes at 9 and we showed up at 7 p.m. . More than half the items were gone with no offer to make more. They also had a Mongolian barbecue and sushi bar that were included, Or we're supposed to be included! The Mongolian Barbeque was closed but still had some food items that looks very old. The sushi bar had empty plates except for one with three pieces of what look like some sort of California roll but it was hard to tell. The rest of the buffet items had no more then two cups of food at the max. What was there was cold or very dried out. Dirty rags that they use to wipe down the buffet were left on the buffet bars. They also had a desert bar. Pieces of sliced cake were thrown about on a plate sticking together. The ice cream look good, but when I went to scoop it myself, the ice cream scooper was greasy from people's hands that came before me. There were a few items that tasted okay, and it wasn't very expensive, that's the only reason I gave it two stars.

It's been a while since we have been there, and I just want Happy with the food. Atmosphere and service was good, just not my favorite place.

0 stars* ... Food was DISGUSTING. The lady had the nerve to tell us we wasted food and that there are homeless people out there. Not my fault the food is gross. My husband only had half of a plate , I tried the fruit out too and even the jello was hard, canteloupe had no flavor , meat was soggy and greasy. the only thing we liked was the banana pudding and ice cream . Go to a different buffet the one on Bell and Litchfield is way better. People are in uniforms too, unlike this place where they are wearing street clothes looking homeless themselves.
