World Buffet

After a year of trying various Chinese restaurants hoping to find a good one we went to world buffet with low expectations. From our beginning of the meal with their wide selection of soups to their grill the food was delicious. My daughter in law who is normally a picky eater pigs out on the huge selection of seafood. Reasonable prices. My favorites are the hot and sour soup, their eggplant in garlic sauce and my own creation from the grill. Some items do have msg so if you have an allergy to it stick with the grill or ask your waiter. We go weekly even though it's a 45 minute drive.

The food selection is great! There is a large variety to choose from and all of the food is decently maintained to be fresh and at the right temperature. It is hard to find a good buffet with quality food, and this is one of two that I enjoy going to! The staff does well to keep drinks filled and the atmosphere is pretty decent and calm too!

Staff was friendly, I'll give them that. Our waitress was great. Didn't realize how much it was..... Higher price than your normal Chinese buffet. My fault no for not asking. Barely ate my first plate and that was it. Some food was good.

Their quality of food has seriously declined! The guy who was cooking in the BBQ Grill area, looked like he didn't want to be there. He just let your food sit on the grill and scorched the noodles. He didn't separate the meat from the noodles and veggies, just cooked it in one big clump. After getting my food it was dry and tasted scorched. Just horrible, so I tried the beef and brocolli, that didn't taste like beef and brocolli at all, did not eat that! Figured I'd play it safe with a salad, wrong again! First off you have to tear the lettuce into bite size pieces and the ranch dressing was pretty bland. Tried the dill pickles.... they were soggy, like they have sat there all day long. Now I'm stuck paying 11.99 for not eating! Pretty disappointed!

We really love it here. The hot bar has the fresh wok where you can have your stir fry made fresh and they make the short ribs fresh as well. They're not sitting out for hours on end. This buffet has the best selection of fresh steamed buns on the west side and the salad bar is amazing!
