Decent service but I think they outsource their cleaning. They lost the fur lining on my Canada Goose and didn’t do anything to remedy the situation and even after telling them not to, they pin women’s clothes using giant safety pins, leaving visible holes in my clothing. Not good at taking direction or fixing their mistakes
I am new to the area I really want to finding a responsive quality cleaner that would take care of my wash and fold and dry cleaning. On my way home from work, I stepped into Ching Cleaners and they seemed very professional and nice, so i decided to give them a try. Since then, I have had a very good experience and would recommend them highly.
I used this service for a couple of years but stopped because they charged like $7-8 for extra drying time for a bath mat. I've brought in the same 2 bath mats and was never charged extra, so I thought this was a rip off. Found a nearby cleaner with slightly lower base and per pound rates, and wish I'd shopped around when I started using laundry services. Cleaning Prices Wash and fold, $10.75 for first 5 lbs, then $1.50/lb Pants $9.25 Sweater $9.50 Down coat $38
Before going, consider that it is very expensive. They wanted to charge me $45 to dry clean a jacket… in another place it was $28.
Good, fast service. I dropped off clothes in the morning and picked up them up that evening.
We have used them since we moved into the neighborhood, almost 20 yrs. Prices are reasonable and they are very good at recognizing their customers. They always know who we are when we call or go to the store in person. They have free pick up & delivery service if you can't make it in by yourself. They are prompt and I don't lose items.
The reviews are accurate. This is a great place to get your clothes cleaned and washed. Turn around time was very good. I travelled light for work but ended up extending my stay and needed more clothes. Not a problem ever since I found this shop!
Lost my underwear, stained my shirt. Cash only if not more than 5 lbs.
Update: after that time have been going back and haven’t had any issues. Not a bad dry cleaning spot after all and they are open later than a lot of others. All the pairs of pants I dropped off came back with strong mildew smell. Shirts were fine, but considering the price to dry clean pants they shouldn’t come out smelling gross. Would recommend avoiding there has to be other better spots to get dry clean
This place is literally the best laundry place ever. Prices dont change randomly. Honest staff. They have never damaged or lost anything. I referred them to my roommate and she also loves them. I trust them with my expensive clothing. They do pick ups/drop offs between 10-30 minutes when you call/folding & dry cleaning. They listen and stick with the instructions I give them. They do same day cleaning so the turn around is great. I have them pick up my laundry early morning then have them drop off after work same day. I've been a loyal customer for 2 1/2 years now. I even have friends around the city who keep asking me if they were to pay them extra, would they be willing to travel further away for laundry. Only thing I can complain about is that they are not open on Sundays but... thats just me being needy. If you live anywhere in Midtown East and actually care about your nice clothing, this should be your spot.
