This review is about the tailoring...which is way above par. I have always had issues when hemming or cuffing pants...especially suit pants...and having the waist properly fitted...or when needed, adjusted in or out. They don’t clean the clothes! I went to this place several times, although I wasn’t satisfy due to lack of proper washing but I kept going because it was near me. Every time I got back my clothes they were so unclean and even worst than before washing but every time I gave it benefits of doubt! This time I bought a very nice sheets and after 2 weeks, some dirt from air conditioner made me to sent it for laundry, after I got them back, I noticed they weren’t cleaned even a little bit! Every little stain still remain on sheets so I reached out to the guy and he said it’s normal because laundry can’t clean old stain! I said it’s not old and what’s the point of laundry if cannot clean the simplest dirt! He said I can’t guarantee the clothes will come out clean if I try again! Since I didn’t want to be charged again I returned home unsatisfied and went straight to bathroom with one of the small sheet I hand washed it for like one minute and every dirt came off so easily! I didn’t even try to clean it just 5 drop of soap did it! If I could, I star this shop less than one star! I’m not sure they use enough amount of soap or what ever it is that they use for washing cloths and it’s so gross if they don’t wash clothes properly! This wasn’t the first time I was unsatisfied with the quality of their service! It’s not much to expect cleanness from laundry!

I have been supporting this neighborhood gem for several years and enjoy their personalized service, and professional staff. The prices are competitive, and the quality of service is very high. The in-store tailor is exceptional - a true craftsperson.

They are by far the most unprofessional and rude staff I've ever had the misfortune to encounter, particularly Alex. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! They will lose your dry cleaning, return clothes later than promised, and make no attempt to refund/compensate you. Dealing with this place has been nothing short of a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and use any other dry cleaner in manhattan other than this one.

The days of having your laundry done by the hotel are OVER! The walk to Columbia is short from 43nd St and Alber is friendly and professional. My clothes came back wash and folded and 8lbs cost $12.50. There is no beating that! Thanks Columbia Cleaners and Alber, until next time!

I trusted them to get my clothes ready for a formal event and they came back with a button missing from my suit jacket my slacks with a rip on the pocket. I’m just disappointed
