Cinebarre Canal Place 9

I wish I can give this theatre a better rating. My sister and I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. But lately our experiences have been horrible. Ever since the management changed the quality of the theatre and its customer service has declined. Its clear that the employees aren't motivated to work. In the past 6 months we've probably visited 8 times and the popcorn has been cold as if they just left it sitting there. This weekend we went to watch a movie, we ordered soft drinks before the movie started and we did not receive them til about an hour into the movie we called someone 15 minutes in and they told us they would bring them right away and they took about 30 more minutes to finally bring them, needless to say our drinks were watered down. We also Ordered pizza and that took forever to arrive as well and when it did it the whole edges of the crust were burnt and when we took out first bites it was so cold it almost seemed as if it was placed in a fridge. I obviously do not expect the food here to be 5 star quality but I do expect my food to be warm when it gets to me. We will not be visiting this establishment as frequently as we used to so long as the service doesn't change, whoever is managing this place is clearly not doing a good job at it.

SO SAD. The quality of this theater has severely declined. I used to ONLY want to see movies here, because of how nice of an establishment it was. Now, the seats are noisy and damaged, the bathroom resembles and smells like a public restroom that you will find anywhere in the quarter. I understand aging, but this is not aging.. this is neglect of the upkeep of quality. This is laziness. Movie Tavern has far surpassed this theater. I anticipate it shutting down within the next two years if corporate doesn’t step in.

I really love how some of these reviews say the projector wasn't "working" and it just so happened to be a coincidence. I've worked in the industry before and projector problems actually happen a lot more often than people think. It's nothing that anyone can foresee. About 99.9% of employees want all the movies to run smoothly rather than deal with irate customers. Sarah and the entire management team did a great job keeping cool and dealing with upset people today, myself included. The staff also did a great job at doing everything they could to keep people happy. All the employees handled everything in a great and professional manner. Even though my movie didn't work today, I will 100% be back just to give this theater some love. Great job!

I found brunette hair in my popcorn and requested replacement. The theater charged my card twice. I spoke with the manager who declined to refund 1 of the popcorn charges. The management here only cares about money not quality service and not customer satisfaction. They have lost a frequent customer. I will never return to this crumbling theater. I used to love this place.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Had an awesome time had an issue with trying find our seats but a manager Caleb was extremely helpful and polite. Will definitely be back!
