Movie Tavern

My friend and I went about 2 months ago to Movie Tavern and we went to see the movie Game Night. The staff was great, the seating was great, you can hear the movie and see it very well, and the chairs were comfortable. An employee came up and we ordered our food and it came out in a timely manner. My friend enjoyed whatever it was he got. I ordered the double crispy chicken sandwich and by the time the movie was over my friend asked me why I was still eating and I had to tell him because the chicken had so many pieces that could not be chewed, tendons or something, and that almost every bite I took I tried to chew it and couldn't and would have to spit it out. I don't know if it was just a one-time thing but if not they need to change their chicken for that sandwich because it was horrible. That's the only reason why I gave it three stars because other than that everything was great.

The food was good and actually a little cheaper than most chain restaurants. The seating isn't very comfortable though. The straight-back seats make staying comfortable tough.

If you're judging this purely as a movie theater it gets 5 stars, but since this includes food and drinks it gets 3 for me. Its EXTREMELY over priced for food and drinks (5$ for a drink), the food is good quality but the prices are crazy. Spending 11$ for 2 beverages is ridiculous. But, as I said before, the movie theater part of this establishment is top notch, definitely go (just eat somewhere else beforehand)

This is a great way to watch a movie. You come in and get drinks and dinner like a regular restaurant. But they continue to serve you throughout the show. If you decide you want popcorn or soft drink you just press a button and someone comes and discreetly takes your order and drops it off a few minutes later. I was surprised at how well they were able to do it without interrupting the movie you were watching. Of course it's a bit pricey, but you expect to pay more when you're watching a movie for things since that's where they make most of their profit.

Good prices, great service. I drive an hour round trip to go to this theatre because of the comfort and service. I pass the theatre in my hometown because it doesn't compare.
