I ordered dinner from this place through Uber eats. It was late in night, before closing, when I placed the order. We started with meat samosa. The samosa was big in size - and was tasty. The biriyani was decent, nothing fancy. The lamb pasanda came with a side of rice. It was decent too. Overall, it was pretty decent, nothing extra ordinary.
Just spent $75.00. Food is absolutely disappointing. I eat at morethan 100 indians restaurants in the US but this is the first restaurant to screwup CTM. It had very over powering garlic, very bland and wasn't creamy at all as it should be. Mutton Fry is another diaster. Fry should be almost non saucy and should be kinda dry dish. Here, you'll be served with mutton curry slapped with a bunch of mint. I dont want mint curry, i wanted mutton FRY. Chicken 65 had so much oil, i might use it to cook another curry the next day. This doesn't define indian food at all. Naan's are another story all together. They were so thick, maybe could use it as a pillow tonight. This is an insult to indian food. No surprise you're offering buy one get one. Better off going to clove or biryani corner or any other restaurant for that matter. Spend your money wisely and not on this garbage.
Excellent food. Mutter Tikka is bit sweet, but spicy enough to taste. Mutter is another name for green peas. It’s vegetarian, I like it very much. Lamb Dansak is great!! My wife made a Good choice this time !!! My daughter ordered Paneer tikka masala with roti. It is made with a nice mixer of some kind of cheese, very delicious!!! Overall we all liked it!! Great place!!
Cinnamon Indian Grill is the best Indian food in Columbus! Their dishes are delicious, fresh, and authentic. Their spice levels are also amazing don't go higher than Hot unless you can really handle the heat and they offer great value for your money, especially with their lunch and dinner specials/combos. I've been here dozens of times over the last few years and have ordered most of their menu items at least once, and have never had a bad experience. Truly a hidden gem. Eat here. You absolutely won't regret it!
LISTEN!!! As a Black Woman, growing up eating well seasoned food….this place is TOP TIER!!! Everything fresh, so flavorful, and no matter what food mixes/touches each other, it all pairs so well together. I love the spice, great portion sizes….definitely enough to enjoy with a friend. I’ll definitely be returning here! American food is the same old thing…if you’re looking to try something new, and you enjoy flavor…This place is for you!!! 10/10 would definitely recommend
Excellent selection! Our food came out quickly and was delicious.Food: 5/5
So very disappointing. Use to be pretty good. It has become awful. None of the ingredients were fresh and it was so salty that after one spoonful I can not eat any more. It will make you sick. How unfortunate. Find another place to spend over 20$ for one meal! This just sucks. Disgusting! Cinnamon Grill is absolutely awful! Extremely salty. No other flavor, only salt. Nothing was fresh- even though I asked! The mushrooms were out of a can as was the spinach. Over $20 for one meal. Never again! Go to another Indian place.
This is the BEST Indian restaurant in Columbus because it’s very authentic. All of the bad reviews are either from picky eaters or people who only eat Americanized Indian food. They have such large portions for the price, always offer good deals, the spice levels are amazing because they’re true to real Indian food only get mild or medium if you don’t like it too spicy. they also have a large selection of different naan, and the best mango lassi I’ve had so far. Even two portions of food can usually feed me and one other person for two days bc you get so much and it’s not even that expensive. This place deserves way more recognition, the more popular Indian places are not as good as cinnamon Indian. They deserve 5 stars.
The vegetable Manchurian and samosas are amazing! I thought the rice was included but I didn’t get any with my meal, so you might have to indicate that you want it. However, I’ve never had anything like the vegetable Manchurian ANYWHERE and I’m crazy about it. Vegetarian options: Lots
The "Cinnamon Bread Basket" is gigantic for the price four whole naan in four different flavors and all the breads are really good. The veg samosa is excellent as is the rice they serve with most main dishes. There are two interesting fish dishes under the Chef's Specialties: rohu Buffalo Carp and Hilsha a type of freshwater herring. The Hilsha is apparently the national fish of Bangladesh and our server was so enthusiastic when we asked about it that we had to try it. It was really good, prepared as a whole fish including bones and some organs cross-cut the way you sometimes see salmon "steaks" where it is about an inch thick horseshoe shape with the spine in the middle and a slice of each filet on either side. Three good size slices of this are prepared in a tomato and onion sauce that is mildly spicy. The veg Manchurian was also really good. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
