The service is impeccable, the food is amazing, and the drinks are well crafted. Best Indian I've had in Columbus so far. Staff is cleaning high contact surfaces consistently and is masked. Interior design is beautiful and so is the dinner/flatware.
Best Indian restaurant I've ever had! It's just a black building from the outside, but once we got inside the building, OMG! The decor and the ambience is very different from the other Indian restaurants we've visited. Love their appetizers and curries! Would definitely visit again :
We saw Wicked at the Ohio Theater and was looking for places to eat but most were closed. Haveli Bistro was open until 1am. Service was amazing and the food was just as good! The garlic naan was delicious! The mango goat curry was spicy at level 3 and very good! Overall great experience and the waiter was also very friendly and accommodating even late at night! I would recommend!
The place is located in the downtown Columbus, and looks very pretty, and fancy. We stopped by for dinner in the weekend in late night. The best thing is, they remain open for dinner at least in the weekends until very late night. Maybe because it was late in night, we found a street parking right in front of the restaurant. Otherwise, I don’t know- maybe you have to find a parking spot. The place is neat and clean. The environment is laid back and nice with all their decor and lights and music- compared to all typical Indian eateries. The washroom is also pretty decent. We were there around night 11ish. It was not packed. The service was slow. The servers looked tired, and annoyed! Nobody talked or greeted, not even smiled properly. We ordered chicken 65, and apollo fish from the appetiser section. Both of them were good. The standard was decent, ingredient-wise, and taste wise. However, the portion size was quite small, as compared to the price. In the main course, we ordered a chicken Dum biriyani which both of us shared. I felt the biriyani to be pretty ordinary. Portion size wise, the biriyani was decent. But the taste wise it was merely like a home cooked one. The food was all typically Telugu style southern speciality - so keep that in mind before you hit the place. Overall, I’m not sure if I will return there, although I don’t have any special complaint. From whatever we ate, I loved the apollo fish most.
This place used to be better, but now their services are getting retarded. The servers are never around if you need anything extra, and the service was terrible. I would stop going to this place after today's disappointing visit. The food taste was also not as good as it was earlier. I thought of giving this place another try after last two disappointing visits and it is just keeps on getting worse. The food taste is getting ad and also their services. My old review: Best place in Columbus to get some good Indian food. I’ve been here a few times, and this place never disappoints. The food quality and taste are up to the mark. The service is also excellent. The staff is amiable. I love the vibe of this place; the fancy table chairs make it whole. If you are looking for some good spicy Indian food, go to this place, you will not get disappointed—fantastic food, excellent service, and super clean and hygienic—a must-go place in Columbus.
Cozy in the corner of down town. We heard a lot about this place and finally got to eat on weekend night. Located in the center city this place has good food and cozy ambiance. Food is really authentic. Taste is very similar to what we eat in India. It is for sure not a one time visit place rather it is keep coming back kind of place because of the tasty food. According to me must try items are their soups, very authentic. Non.veg curries are up to the mark. Gajar ka halwa was a delight on winter night. Seek kabab way too good and melt in the mouth. Saag chole is creamy and fresh. Haveli bistro is running short of staff mentioned by the server, still they are doing their best. The 3/4 course menu for $30 is what I found little more on the pocket as the portion served is less. Rest everything is perfect about the place and food.
Must try hot & sour soup, other than that Biryani was good. well decored and need more maintenance and additional staff will be great coz it’s always extremely busy, had to wait for really long time. Overall, it's a great place to have Indian cuisine.
Food was FANTASTIC. Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. They, like everyone, may be a little under staffed but the genuine welcoming nature of everyone and the level/quality of food far outweigh the possibility that you may wait an extra few minutes for next courses. Highly recommend. Zero to complain about.
The food was delicious but the service was subpar. The decor is cute. My friend and I were placed in a spot with rice on the floor. We asked for a different table but we were told that the table was reserved, only for no one to ever show up we realized we were lied to since we stayed until the closing time and nobody showed up. Other clients were given plates and we had to request them. They also took forever to bring our drinks.
GREAT FOOD!!!! Did not appreciate cramming all the patrons together in an empty restaurant. Also wished they would clear empty plates and dishes from the table. Oh yeah.... and the wall our table was on is naked drywall. Screws through the paper. LOL Still.... great waitress and host, and the food.... fantastic.
