Dosa Corner

Ordered for pickup via Doordash as the phone to the restaurant was busy everytime we tried - this was a good sign. The parking is small and parked 2 cars deep. The restaurant was full of happy patrons. The order was ready on time. Everything packaged well, soups & sauce containers securely wrapped in plastic wrap. We tried Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, and Paneer Masala Dosa - all were delicious! We also ordered Aloo Bonda, Sambar, Rassam, Chapati, and Garlic Naan. Everything was very delicious. The garlic naan is perhaps the best I've ever had in Columbus. We will definitely eat food from Dosa Corner again!

During our stay at Columbus, we visited this restaurant to find good South Indian food. The place is small but cozy. We ordered dosa Thali. Portion size for the price of food was good. Idlis and Wadas were good but I liked dosa the most. The taste was not authentic South Indian but was good. We also ordered upama to go. Nothing like typical upama but preparation of food is North Indian style. Service got slow as soon as place got few more customers. This is not your typical udupi style restaurant but good place to try South Indian food with a North Indian twist.

So good to be back here after a long Covid break in eating authentic Indian food. This place is vegetarian and delicious. I want to say southern Indian food. I tried the Uthappam for the first time and really liked itin the picture. Well worth the drive!

Great dosa place in Columbus, Ohio. We live in Cleveland and whenever we come to Columbus we eat here. They have a wide variety of tasty dosas here. If you want to try different items go for the thali which is very reasonable.

The food was good. The base spice level was higher than other places I've visited. They told us what items were gluten free, but I didn't feel very confident about it. Favorite food we had was the lentil donuts. When we visited they required a reservation to dine in and could not accommodate 6 of us at one table. Service was poor in that we had to ask for plates, more water, for the check, and for napkins.

Ordered dosa thali and chole poori through doordash. I chose masala dosa for the thali - they delivered dosa, one idli, two wada, one gulab jamun, two small bowls of sambar and one small bowl of coconut chutney. I was happy about the thali - every item was good, the dosa was wrapped in butter paper and then in aluminum foil, rest of the items were in styrofoam boxes/bowls. I was a little disappointed about the item - choley poori. They sent three poori, each of which was a size of burrito, wrapped in oil absorbing paper inside a styrofoam box and the choley came in a plastic container. I found the poori a bit oily and the choley texture was different than what I expected. Overall a good platter for atleast 3 - 4 meals.

This is our second visit after 3 yrs when we were at Ohio. Taste is great! Loved the idlis and masala dosa and rasam. Just add red chutney and put on traditional tamilian music that would b3 lovely...

Ambience: 3.75/5 Idli: 4.85/5 need to keep for few min more so that get less sticky Sambar; 5/5 Coconut chutney:5/5 Dosa masala: 5/5 Yogurt rice: 1/5 do good tempering, salt and curry leave and good quality rice. Vada: 2/5 looks good but doesn't taste good. LEMON RICE: I MAKE SO BETTER. Doesn't taste lemon, no curry leaves, no taste super poor quality of rice..it is making me sick just by the look. Service: 5/5

Food over here use to be really good and “homey”and that’s why this place was my go-to for Indian vegetarian, although it was considerably worse this time. Prices are cheap, so you can always give it a try to judge for yourself. I am probably avoiding this joint in future. Below are my short and sweet ratings of the stuff that i had ordered. Spinach Masala Dosa - 3/5 Onion & hot Chilli masala dosa - 3/5 Onion Pakora - 2/5 Sauces/Chutneys- 4/5 Mysore coffee -5/5 Chole poori 3/5 Bindi masala 3/5 The restaurant is a small establishment with a cozy vibe, but most could also think it is one of the fast food joints. Service is slow because they are very busy as it looks like they are short on staff , and the server comes only once or twice overall. One may explain that it is suppose to be that way since the payment is to be done at the counter
